Reporting Of The Role

In India we see high demand for {iSO} InCube™, a connected StatUps EcoSystem, the solution with unified Innovation and MakerSpace modules that are interoperable with legacy and future applications. InCube™ offers an Intelligent operations capability at its core, this is an advanced StatUps EcoSystem that brings exponential improvements to the current methodologies of incubating & scaling StartUps.

The role of the Project Manager is to Plan, Execute, and Finalize Projects according to Strict Deadlines and within Budget. The Project Manager is in charge of the day-to-day Management of Project Execution which includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. 

The duties initially assigned include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability 
  • Manage the Project and the processes therein – including the definition and on-going monitoring of the Project Implementation Document (PID)
    • Define the project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders 
    • Produce the Project Implementation Plan 
    • Produce and Manage the Project Plan 
    • Produce and Manage the Quality Plan 
    • Produce and Manage the Communications Plan 
    • Define the resource plan 
  • Represent the needs of the Implementation Team during the pre-sales stage 
  • Carry out resource planning and management 
  • Carry out the management and escalation of risks and issues 
  • Manage the project budget 
  • Ensure that the project team members are aware of and remain compliant with all the relevant procedures and policies 
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope throughout the project 
  • Ensure appropriate communication between the members of the project team and report on project progress and other project specific information to stakeholders 
  • Lead the ‘handover to support’ activities after go-live 
  • Lead the ‘lessons learned’ activities for whole project life cycle 
  • Produce the Project Closure Report

Essential experience required for success in this role:

  • Project Management experience delivering multi-stranded integrated solutions in a customer facing role 
  • Prior implementation with local StartUp EcoSystem would be desirable 
  • Experience of full project lifecycle through initiation, execution, go-live and closure 
  • Direct knowledge or 5+ yrs experience in StartUpis highly preferred 
  • Experience managing resources, time tracking, budgets and forecasting 
  • Experience leading a diverse / multi-disciplined team 
  • Experience communicating across all levels of an organization 
  • An understanding of StartUp procedures, standard working practices, structure and politics 
  • Previous experience as an end user of an Incubator / Accelerator
  • Consulting experience or background
  • Experience with integrated implementations

Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more projects, preferably through the Agile/Scrum process
  • Work together with the clients, project team, and business management
  • Managing and reporting on budget, schedule, and progress towards goals
  • Provide direction and clear goals, make the team understand what is expected by the client
  • Coordinate and motivate the team to achieve a significant project
  • Managing the needs of diverse clients
  • Understanding the need of the client, be able to collect requirements and present them to the project team
  • Write high-level functional specifications and maintain them during the project
  • Monitor and report the progress of the projects
  • Provide advice to the team wherever they need it and point them in the right direction
  • Understand and manage the different team members in the project
  • Run the daily Agile project process, like standup, planning etc.
  • Contribute to the company's overall delivery process

Qualifications - Specific to position

  • Professional services and/or consulting business background, preferably in the IT consulting companies
  • Business mindset: We’re helping clients, and want to grow our own business
  • Understanding of both design and technology
  • Agile/Scrum, certificates are a big plus
  • Used to managing Agile based projects
  • Experience working with enterprise clients, and big scale custom software projects.
  • Software engineer background is a big plus

Qualifications - General

  • Systematic, detail-oriented
  • Ambitious and driven personality, willing to take ownership of actions
  • Fluent in English
  • 5+ years of software development business experience, ideally from consultancy or software development agencies.
  • A degree in computer/technology related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification
