• Ensure restaurants are clean and ready for service. • Ensure linen, cutlery and hollowware are stacked for service and water jugs re-filled and placed on the table. • Set tables according to service standards. • Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all cutlery, crockery and glassware and clean as required to ensure guest satisfaction. • Welcome the guests withgreeting them as per the standards. • Assistance in seating the guests. • Present menus or daily specials to the customers. • Suggest food and beverages to the guest and try to upsell. • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen as per customer. • Co-ordinate with the busboy, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction. • Ensure efficient Food & Beverage services to the guests as per the service standards • Process any special request by the guest in coordination with the Restaurant Manager. • Punch the order in POS and close the day and tally closing report in POS • Present the bill, accept payment and return the change. • To receive feedback from the guest on comment card or interface • Help other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones and completing financial transactions or any other tasks assigned by the Restaurant Manager.
